1976
Under the leadership of Ahmet Yüksel, İbrahim Yüksel, Ramazan Yüksel, and Senior Engineer Ekrem Yüksel, cable work focused on TV and radio began in a 600 m² enclosed area in Rami, Istanbul, under the name Demes Elektronik ve Mekanik.
1985
- The name Demes (Doludere Elektronik Mekanik Sanayi) was registered.
- Later, under the name "Demes Kablo San. Tic. Ltd. Şti.," cable production continued in a 10,000 m² closed area in Istanbul-Kıraç with extrusion machines purchased on behalf of Demes Kablo.
1986
- Production of low-voltage cables has begun.
- Sales of TV cables to global brands such as Schaub Lorenz, Beko, Vestel, and Grundig have begun.
1987
- A PVC workshop was established and PVC production began in collaboration with Deka Plastik Ltd. Şti.
- Demes Kablo was the first in Turkey to manufacture world-standard taped cables.
1988
- An export certificate was obtained and the company participated in its first international trade fair.
- Helgin Kablo ve San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. was established for the production of energy cables.
1989
- The first export was made to Pakistan with RG 62 IBM terminal connection cables.
- Demes Kablo cables are used in IBM computers used by the public and private sectors.
- The first TSEK certificate was obtained for coaxial cables.
- PVC production was incorporated into Demes Kablo and production continued.
1999
The first TSE certificate for cable production was obtained.
2001
Demes Kablo, which owns Turkey's first physical foaming extrusion machine, used this machine at its production facility and carried out production using this technique.
2003
- The first NQA certificate was obtained.
- Danpa Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti. was established for export purposes.
2006
The first BASEC certificate was obtained.
2007
A cable manufacturing partnership has begun with Ethiopia's Sony distributor in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on a 25,000 m² site, 4,400 m² of which is covered, under the name "Euro Cable Plc."
2010
The first CEBEC certificate was obtained.
2014
The first VDE certificate was obtained.
2015
Danpa Dış Ticaret Ltd. Şti. and Demes Kablo San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. have merged.
2017
- We obtained our first CPR certificate.
- We opened our new factory in Ethiopia with a production capacity of 1,200 tons/month.
2020
All departments have completed the training necessary for the transition to lean manufacturing.
2022
Demes Kablo conducted its first in-house CPR test using a CPR test device.
2023
We have reduced our carbon footprint by 25% with our IREC certificate.
